Fostoria | American | Flared Ice Tea

Flared Ice Tea

Item Number:  #65
Height:  5¼″
Production Dates:  1915-1982

There are a variety of “Ice Tea” glasses in the Fostoria American pattern. Some of the glasses are footed and/or flared. Most versions of the Ice Tea glasses hold approximately 12 oz., so the real differences between them can be found in their design and shape. The Ice Tea – Flared – is very similar to the Flared Table Tumbler; however, the Ice Tea glass is larger in size.

The 12 oz. Ice Tea – Flared – has a height of approximately 5¼ – 5½”.  It has flared sides and does not have a foot. This particular Ice Tea was one of the first pieces to be introduced into the American pattern in 1915 and was produced continuously throughout 1982.

Fostoria | American | Flared Ice Tea and PlateWhen the Flared Ice Tea is paired with the vintage Ice Tea Plate, it is a beautiful combination.  In fact, these two pieces are featured together in the Fostoria 1915 Catalog Supplement.

When you want to make a gracious impression while serving tea (or with any other beverage), the Flared Ice Tea will not disappoint.  Simply put, it is a beautiful piece of glass.
