The items listed in this Inventory Worksheet are the exact items you can currently view in my resource book, Fostoria American In-Depth Review and Identification Guide.  In fact, this worksheet was designed to correspond with my book, including a “Page No.” column that references its page (or pages) when the item is mentioned or pictured in the book.  This is a very comprehensive and custom-designed inventory document for colored and decorated items only.  While I consider it an invaluable tool in my own personal American collection, its value to other collectors will be in the perceived merit and quality of the information provided.  For an example of the format, please refer to the featured image.

There are a total of 18 pages in this PDF Inventory Worksheet, displayed in a landscape viewing mode.  The items are displayed and sorted by their item number.  For example, Item No. 64.GR (Regular Ice Tea – Green) is listed first, followed by 76.GR, etc.  All items have their respective item number listed, a photo ID, and an item description – including their approximate size.  The columns with text or a photo are non-editable.  This was done to preserve the integrity of the information provided by its author, Julie M. Noyas.  The Qty, Purchase Price, Retail Value, Acquired From, and Personal Notes columns are blank, and this is the area where you, the collector, can write in your own comments.   Since retail values are always fluctuating, I recommend that you research “sold” listings on eBay to get an approximate value of what an item might be worth in today’s market.

The “Personal Notes” section is a great place to note an item’s condition or flaws, or for anything else that you might think is relevant.  By having an inventory worksheet in a landscape viewing format (versus a portrait view), there is more available writing space in the personal notes section.  Creating this comprehensive list of items was not an easy task, especially when one considers all the information that collectors need – such as item descriptions, sizes, and how much they paid for their items.  A photo was added for each item as well, which is an added bonus and benefit.

While this Inventory Worksheet is not editable, it is printable.  Simply download it to your computer or mobile device, save the file, and then print it out as often as you wish.  The Inventory Worksheet only includes cataloged and non-cataloged colored and decorated items.  Crystal items are not shown.  All cataloged colored items are listed.  A few blank lines are included for any items that are not listed, such as whimsies, etc.

This worksheet offers an economical way to identify your Fostoria American pieces.  Carry the printed sheet with you as you take inventory.  I highly recommend keeping an original copy as your source file, and then perform inventory tasks from your working copies.  I also suggest hole punching the top of the pages, securing them in a binder for easy reference and viewing.
